Happy Halloween!

The great thing about Hallowthanksmas is, of course, the individual holidays. We wish everyone a safe and happy Halloween!

Hallowthanksmas is Here!

Here it is, the best time of year. We spent the few days leading up to Hallowthanksmas, and the official start of Hallowthanksmas at the Happiest Place on Earth, Walt Disney World.
On the 28th, we attended the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, an event that occurs at the Magic Kingdom on select nights starting in September and going through October.


Then on October 1st, we returned to the Magic Kingdom, to celebrate the arrival of Hallowthanksmas.

One Week Before Hallowthanksmas Begins!

It's a week away from October 1st, the official start of Hallowthanksmas, and a local discount mart had it's Christmas display up next to the Halloween candy and decorations. Oh, what a beautiful sight!

Today I stopped by a card shop that had it's Halloween selection on sale, because they were already selling Christmas items. Embrace the true holiday, Hallowthanksmas!

Walt Disney World starts their Hallowthanksmas, er, Halloween party on September 5th this year. I can't think of a better place to celebrate the Season than Disney World, and the earlier the better!

It's August 5th and the Halloween candy is out. Can candy canes be far behind?

It Truly Is Hallowthanksmas!

Yesterday I mentioned going to a local card store and seeing a display of Halloween and Thanksgiving merchandise. I returned today with my camera to find that they had added a shelf of Charlie Brown Christmas merchandise!

It's June 26th, and Hallowthanksmas is in the air!

Summer began just about a week ago, and a local card store I stopped by today had a Halloween display up, with some Thanksgiving mixed in for good measure! Why didn't I have my camera?! This just shows that Hallowthanksmas is here for good. So embrace and enjoy!

Wait. What is Hallowthankmas?!

Hallowthanksmas is the most magical time of year. It begins in October, and ends after Christmas.Some people throw New Years in, but for me, it's all down hill after Christmas. I've always loved Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Why not combine all 3 into a mega, beer drinkin', food eatin', friend gathering smorgasbord with a whole lot of frivolous, self indulgent spending thrown in for good measure? My love of that time of year, led to the creation of Hallowthanksmas.com! As my dear wife pointed out, (thanks hon), I should have started this blog five years ago when I actually started seriously looking into marketing this as a viable holiday. We've been celebrating Hallowthanksmas together for 5,000 years. No, wait, we've been together 10 years. And after years of saying we should do something with this, and friends and coworkers having me throw ideas at them, I finally leaped.

So, I finally got a Registered Trademark on Hallowthanksmas, formed Hallowthanksmas LLC, and we are currently getting ready to market our first round of cards this Hallowthanksmas season! Which brings me back to the fact that here on June 26th, merchandise is already being displayed!
We've got to get going!
